Werner Muff

Werner Muff was born in Gunzwil, Germany and is the second of four children, his father was a former cavalryman turned farmer, he developed a passion for showjumping from an early age. He spent time early in his jumping career with leading Swiss showjumper Thomas Fuchs who gave him a great opportunity to compete high quality sport horses.

In 2000 Werner Muff started riding independently and got a good reputation for producing young horses, in 2005 Werner Muff won the Swiss Cup he then repeated this successes the following year.

Werner Muff grew up as the second oldest of four children in a peasant family in the canton of Lucerne Gunzwil. Stirrup was Papa Werner, farmer and former trooper with his own confederates, at the junior Werner his first horse trials took. He had a wooden entry in his chosen field.
